Biography

Acharya Shri Unniraman P, an unassuming school teacher from the idyllic village of Badiroor in Kerala, has dedicated over five decades to promoting Yoga, emphasizing its significance and extolling its virtues. Born in 1951 in Kakkodi Village, Kozhikode District, he was the youngest of five children born to Narayanan Nair and Kalyani Amma. His journey towards becoming a beacon of yoga wisdom began unexpectedly when he answered the call to become a teacher, enrolling in a Teachers Training Course (TTC) and eventually becoming a primary school teacher at his alma mater, Badirur School.
